FlexMate™

FlexMate™ is an AE (Acoustic Emission) sensor that includes a flexible transducer and is excellent for detecting minute cracks, breaks, leaks, etc. in industrial facilities in real time.
Unlike traditional hard, bulky ceramic-based sensors, FlexMate™ uses polymer and composite materials to maximize flexibility.
This allows for easy installation in curved areas such as pipes, and enables constant real-time monitoring through IoT-based wireless sensors.

Acoustic Emission Technology

AE Technology is an innovative technology for safety monitoring of industrial facilities.
We use Acoustic Emission (AE) technology to detect ultrasonic vibration signals inaudible to humans, monitoring facilities’ status in real-time for abnormalities.

Sensor

AE sensors detect very fine vibrations and noise. It can detect fine cracks and leaks from the facilities and respond immediately.
Flexible sensors, such as FlexMate™, are built on composite materials and can be easily attached to piping and curved structures.

AE system Components

The AE system consists of pre-amplifier, main amplifier, and DAQ (Data Acquisition).
These components amplify minute vibration signals, collect data, and enable precise analysis.

PC with Software

Data collected from AE systems is analyzed and visualized through software.
Based on the detected vibration signal, the software detects cracks, breakages, leaks, etc. in real time and visually expresses them so that users can easily understand them.
FlexReal™ software provides these capabilities to help users monitor data in real time and take appropriate action.
